My mom posted this cool gadget photos on my Facebook page. She said she will give this notebook to my daughter so she can watch her favorite cartoons on Youtube.  I’m so happy because at last she will not grab my seat and use my netbook anymore LOL! My mom will also give this awesome Nokia E7 Eseries phone for my hubby Yey!

Too bad I don’t mine :( Oh well, I already have my netbook and pink touchscreen mobile phone so its okay for me. But Ive been eying on her NIKON D3100 DSLR camera because I can’t afford to buy that hahaha! If she will get bored on it and if she will buy the newest and latest DSLR camera which is available on the market today, then I would definitely ask and beg her to give the camera to me. ^_^

All of our computers from our computer shop and even my laptop got damaged from the flood caused by Typhoon Sendong three weeks ago that’s why I asked my mom to buy me a new laptop. I purchased this new Samsung N100 netbook  worth P11,495 or around $270 .  Its operating system is Meego so my hubby decided to buy an external DVD writer so he could reformat this netbook into Windows OS.

It has a  10.1-inch LED screen has a resolution of 1024×600 pixels WXGA. The rest of its technical specifications includes an Intel Atom N435 1.33GHz to, with 1GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive. The graphic chip is nature entrusted to the integrated Intel GMA 3150. So far so good I like the specs and performance of this netbook. It has a good quality, its lightweight and durable and best of all, its portable where I can bring it anywhere I go.

This cutie pink Froyo Apad is one of my Christmas wish list. I saw it in Facebook from an online friend who are selling netbooks, mobile phones and other gadgets. This mini netbook is called the SUPER APAD iROBOT with Version 2.2 Froyo and has a Genuine Android OS.  It costs around $100. You can play high speed games and you can even use direct chat like yahoo messenger.  Its functions includes internet surfing via WiFi or LAn, E-book reader, Microsoft Office, video and voice recorder, music and video player. Its also Android market ready so it means we can download free applications and software in it. It’s features and specs is just great! I can even use it for myself. What do you think? :)

  4. Looking for a Pink Notebook

    November 6, 2011 by Kayce

Christmas is fast approaching and one of my Christmas wish list is to have my own notebook. I have my emachines netbook but its quite big and it couldn’t fit in my bag. Ive been eying on those pink cutie notebooks available in the market today.  The pink girly color attracts me most cause it adds some flair, expression and identity to one of my most used possessions. And oh! did I say that I’m a certified pink lover? wink!

Aside from the fact that I love the pink colored notebooks or mini laptops, I just love it because its light and compact and I can easily carry it around wherever I go. I’m also looking for notebook that has a good battery life  and are good enough for web-browsing, watching movies and photos, reading mails, facebooking and blogging of course.  In short, it has a good features and specs.

Sony Vaio W in pink - fancy, if you can afford it
I want something like this from Sony Vaio W in fancy hot pink color. Well, if my budget fits, why not buy this one. But since I still have to pay  our utility bills, I think I better go find for cheap pink notebooks available here in our local shopping mall or perhaps I go look for best deals and discounts online.

  5. My Acer Emachine D732Z Laptop

I purchased this Acer emachine D732Z laptop a few months ago because I donated my old BENQ laptop to our church. My old lappy was actually one of the oldest laptop model. It has a battery problem and I can’t bring it anywhere. It’s so heavy and I can’t use it when it is not plugged in an outlet.

I was actually looking for a pink notebook which can also be fitted in my bag but my hubby suggested that I should look for the good specs, not just the looks and style…blah!blah! So, he was the one who looked for the best laptop available here in our place since I don’t know much about those certain specs. Were also looking for a huge LCD screen, with DVD writer/ROM, huge memory, hard disk and video card. So at last, we finally found the right one.

This Acer emachine D732Z laptop costs P19,995 with free retractable mouse and notebook cooler. We just have to add P500 if we want an installation for the operating system, programs and other applications. Well, my hubby is already an expert on it so we didn’t pay for the additional fee.

This is actually my very first laptop. A new, sleek and modern looking laptop. I have no knowledge about laptop’s low battery life. I thought that it would last for more than 6 hours but I was surprised when I found out and noticed that it only lasts for about 3 hours and even less than that. I am a such a heavy computer user. I use computer for almost 24 hours! I’m already worried on how long this laptop of mine will last. Every time the low battery sign will appear on my screen, I have to plug the charger so I can continue my online routine.

My laptop’s battery already starts to lose its capacity since I always use it and I think after a year or two I might need to get a new battery just to get an hour or two away from an outlet. Any tips and advice that you can share to me my friends on how can I possibly extend my laptop’s battery life?
