  1. Using USB 3G Mobile Internet

    September 20, 2011 by Kayce

Ive got three USB  3G mobile  internet here but as of now I’m using Smart BRO postpaid plug it. The other SmartBRO was a prepaid one and also my Globe Tattoo.  What’s the best thing about this broadband internet is that it allows us to surf the internet anywhere we go as long as we have our laptop or notebook.

We can carry this small, palm-sized device  with us wherever we go. And anytime I need to surf,  I just plug it into the USB port of my PC, and  viola! I get connected in a flash. With regards to its connection, the  3G speed depends on the area. With SmartBRO, the speed would go as fast as 2 mbps sometimes, but it would get slower at times at 300 kbps.

The speed was okay to surf the internet, check emails and view images, but I think for this speed, you would not be able to download large files because it would take longer. It was much slower than a broadband connection. I think the speed would be something like in wifi hotspots where the speed would get fast and slow sometimes, so I think I can say it is pretty okay since I don’t download a lot.

In a sense it can be a good source of a quick internet connection for me in case I travel. In other words, if you want a quick internet connection anywhere you go, just plug the device into your laptop and you’re set. It may not be the best mobile broadband internet but it is okay and is pretty good in my opinion. The idea of being able to connect to the internet anywhere is appealing to freelancers and to people who are always on the go like me.
