  1. The Slim Portable DVD Writer

    February 13, 2012 by Kayce

I bought a new netbook a few weeks ago but its operating system is Meego so my hubby suggested that we should buy an external DVD writer so he could reformat my netbook into Windows OS.

We bought this Samsung SE-208AB slim portable DVD writer at $60, with an aero dynamic sleek design. It has a hi-glossy surface and aesthetics that matches Samsung’s new laptop series.  It matches my Samsung NP 100 netbook too! It is USB-powered and no additional power cord is needed.

It works with Windows PC and Mac computers. This Samsung SE-208AB can burn a DVD+/-R for up to 24x. The drive includes Buffer Under Run technology to prevent errors that may result from writing speeds that exceed data transfer speeds.

  2. A Workstation for Me

    November 15, 2011 by Kayce

One of my plans is to put up my own workstation at our new house. As of now we are still trying to complete all the needed furniture, appliances and other home decorations. Once it is completed, I am planning to buy a nice set of computer table, chair and other accessories just like my mom’s workstation at her home.

Having my own workstation is really important for someone like me who always stay in front of the computer for long hours a day. Sitting at one for extended lengths of time increases the odds of muscle fatigue, eye strain and more. But with the help of  workstations where a desktop computer is setup, it will help decrease these certain physical ailments.

One of the great benefit of having a properly setup workstation is that we are able to work in a productive environment. If your job entails a large quantity of time sitting in front of a computer, it may be in a office or at home, you have everything that you need that includes printers, scanners and anything else  that you need  where you just plug into your computer to get your work done since it is already arranged and organized properly.

  3. Using Continuous Ink Supply System for our Printer

    September 13, 2011 by Kayce

Our Epson Stylus TX121 all-in-one printer has been with us for more than 2 years now. We have been using this printer both for personal and for our i-cafe business. Most of our customers want to print black texts per page and sometimes with photos but we easily ran out of ink. Although I can buy a replacement ink for a cheap price but we decided to buy a continuous ink supply system because I believe it is more efficient to use and its more economical.

We bought this CISS for our printer and it costs P2,300. Not bad at all because I can save more ink and savings in printing large volume of pages. Continuous ink systems really saves you money, time and patience as most contain about eight times the amount of ink found in many printer ink cartridges.

If you compare the price of a traditional printer ink cartridge versus a continuous ink system, you will definitely see the instant savings in it. I could say that it is the  most profitable and cost-effective ink solution for printer users.
