With all the advances of technology, there is a misconception that faxes are not important business tools. Faxes still remain an important part of business communication because they are fast ways to get important information across to another party. Internet faxing is a step up from traditional faxing, and it is often less expensive and more convenient for businesses to use.

    How to Send a Fax

Sending an online fax works in two different ways. First, you can send fax to a recipient’s fax machine from your business email. You can either scan the document into your computer or send over a saved document created in Microsoft Word or Open Office. Type in the fax number through the Internet service, and then the recipient will have the page printed out on their end.

The other way Internet faxing works is by sending a document from your fax machine to a recipient’s email address. The process is like sending a document to another fax machine, wherein you punch in a number corresponding to an assigned. Instead of the recipient printing the document from the fax machine, they will receive an email attachment.

    Tools Needed for Internet Faxes

The business tools you need for Internet faxing ultimately depend on how you would like to use the service. If you already have a fax machine, then you might consider using an Internet service to utilize the option of faxing documents to clients who do not have this kind of equipment.

On the other hand, this service is especially crucial if you do not have a fax machine. In either case, you will need a reliable Internet connection as well as a phone line for the process to work efficiently. Keep in mind that you do not need a separate fax machine phone line for this kind of service. You also do not have to waste paper and ink if you choose not to print out documents received through your email.

    Costs

Running a business is impossible without spending money here and there on the essential tools that you need to run it efficiently. The good news is that utilizing internet faxing can actually cut your business costs. If you do not have a fax machine, then having the option of internet faxing can decrease the need for buying a piece of equipment that you may never use.

If you already have a fax machine, your internet faxing services can still help you get relevant information to clients quickly if they do not have fax machines. Simply leave your machine hooked up and send the information to the recipient’s email address. This saves you time and money from having to carry out other forms of communication.

We originally set up our net cafe for chat users before way back 7 years ago and that includes microsoft office for encoding and printing purposes. And then we also started buying gaming PC’s for the gamers as shown in the photo. So what spec do you need for a gaming PC these days? Ours are Dual Core with 2gb of ram, 250gb hard drive, 512mb GFX card. We have also found that gaming wise things like Call of duty, DOTA, counter-strike, RF Online and RAN Online are all their favourites. We bought this complete set of Gaming PC at around P17,000.

You can try to budget P20,000 to P25,000 per PC.  Do not scrimp out on memory, processing power or video cards. The logic here is that  even if you save a few bucks but your computers will be trash in less than a year and  you should have a faster PC than your competitors. And if you can get LCD monitors for all computers, then do so. The cost savings on electricity will more than pay for itself.

And if you’re a techie, you can probably do the wiring and the setup of the routers and switches yourself. That’s what my hubby is doing here. But if you can’t, there are professionals who can do it for you. If you can’t find one in your place, ask the tech guy at the PC shop where you bought your hardware if he can do a little moonlighting for your new shop.
